Quality of build is great very practical and suits me perfectly

I’ve been a long-time fan of Samsonite and have always appreciated the durability and quality of their products and the Pro-DLX 6 Rolling Tote is no exception when it comes to materials and construction. The zippers are smooth and sturdy and the overall build feels premium and travel-ready.That said I’ve been disappointed with the bag’s stability. With the redesign the front foot has been moved further back which causes the bag to tip forward far too easily especially when packed. For a business-oriented travel tote this is a significant issue and makes it frustrating to use on the go.I also miss the integrated combination lock that previous versions included. It was a small but useful feature and its absence in this version feels like a step down.Still a solid bag in terms of craftsmanship but I hope future versions address these practical design concerns.

Interior pockets materials feel a bit fragile but the interior and the size and weight are good overall.. Biggest problem is the handle. I had expected a firm and solid suitcase handle at this price. But it comes out to be wobbly and loose. And it doesn't lock on the upright position very well. Which is very annoying in my points of view.

I have a large number of Samsonite products in our household from several laptop bags to larger luggages. I think they are a great firm but this product is an exception and is very poorly designed. I have had the previous model for many many years and was still going strong until its wheel gave up and I also wanted to change to a new one so I purchased this at London airport during one of my business trips. Requirements were simple water proof high quality laptop bag on wheels with lots of storage. This bag has all that and is also lighter than its previous version BUT the support at the base is so poor the bag rolls/falls forward all the time even when there are ample things in the storage section. If you just keep a laptop and a charger with few other bits it will fall all the time. If you look closely at the picture from the side angle you will see clearly that the wheels side is higher than the fixed base. In addition the fixed base flexes inside. All in all this is an extremely bad design from a very reputed firm. This forced me to look at briggs and riley whose design I find a bit bland but at least they will not keep falling. Tumi is also an option but I always felt Samsonite more practical than Tumi (except this bag). The previous model of this bag had a firm and long plastic coming out at the bottom which ALWAYS kept the bag stable. Please avoid this product and if you have to get them go for the 4 wheel version. If I could replace it now I will go for the 4 wheel one. The two wheel will keep on falling forward. The non wheel version of the same bag is great but I take a lot of flights and wheels become a bit of a necessity.

This bag looks smart and has a couple of good features like the padded laptop and iPad slots. However it quickly gets slightly saggy around the openings making it look like a 6-month bag after 2 weeks. The absolute worst part though and I really do mean awful borderline criminal design is the fact the 'foot' than the bag 'leans' on when put on a surface is in TOTALLY the wrong position. With any items inside - and sometimes even while empty if you're not gentle when putting the bag down - the bag will fall over onto it's front. Within a week of ownership I became infuriated by this and many colleagues commented on the poor design wondering if my bag was broken. NO. Samsonite have designed it this way. Such a totally basic oversight. There's a reason people design their own fixes for even the previous version of this bag (proving Samsonite haven't bothered to update). Do NOT buy this bag unless you are happy to have it falling over everywhere as if it's broken.
