Bought this case as an existing samsonite owner and needing a carry on case. This case fits most long-haul airline specs for overhead luggage. It comes in a range of colours and has flexible packing compartments. It fit in everything I needed for a week but I do travel light. Well made sturdy good quality wheels easy to manoeuvre. Bright colour stands out which was useful when cabin crew needed to move my luggage to a different overhead locker it made it easier to find it again. Really pleased with this purchase.

I have found the case itself very convenient and light but i the handle extention very fragile. Sometime it will not extend and on one side its not holding position if any slight weight applied

I have owned this case for less than 1 year light use no more than half a dozen times. The extending handle has developed a fault and will not extend to full height making the case unusable. I have contacted Samsonite to arrange a repair under warranty and have been advised that this will involve either a 500 mile round trip or for me to pay the cost of shipping with no indication of what happens to my case once I send it off into the world alone. I have suitcases from other leading brands and will avoid dealing with Samsonite in future based on both the quality of the item and of the customer service offered when met with substandard products.

Decided to get a samsonite suitcase instead of cheaper competitors expecting superior quality. The inside liner (this is the USP of this bag with two inbuilt packing cubes) ripped on first use first use being as a carry on that did not get checked in nor overly filled. The liner caught onto some poorly designed internal screws. I have reached out to customer service three weeks ago and not heard anything other than we are investigating. Other than that the bag looks sleek but only been used once so cannot comment on the long term performance.

Upon unboxing the Essens I noted that the telescopic handle was not secured to the suitcase which caused the handle to pop right off. This would suggest that no quality control checks were performed on the product prior to it leaving the factory. I wanted to return the unused suitcase to my local store for a refund I was told by the store manager that I cannot return a product purchased from Samsonite's online store to a local store - This policy in itself is laughable. I believe Samsonite has failed to meet client expectations and I have lost all confidence in their brand. I sincerely hope that no other customers fall victim to similar experiences on the eve of their summer holiday.
