  • Perfect size and more roomy than expected 4

    Bought this to go with the mid-sized suitcase in the same range and colour. Deeper than I expected but it does mean that it’ll be perfect for a long weekend city break. The only downside is the slightly sticky combination lock which caused a bit of a panic when I set the combination and it refused to unlock even with the default or new combination I set. It eventually unlocked after several attempts and it may become less sticky with use over time.

    I bought this for my grandson for his birthday. As yet he has not received it. It does look very nice and robust and should suit him for his travels

    I bought two of these compact suitcases for our weekend away trips and they are great quality items as usual from Samsonite. We purchased Samsonite suitcases in the early 1990’s and they have travelled the world with us and are still it great condition hence the purchase of these two Essens cases. They are worth the cost because they last a lifetime.

    Bought this a few weeks ago. Have used twice. Really like that it is lock and 2 clips to close. Less keen that there are 2 packing cubes - would have preferred one packing cubes and an elasticated strap on the other side. While can use without the packing cubes lack of an elasticated strap makes this impractical.Overall a durable case which is zipfree at a reasonable price and thus what I wanted.

    Absolutely superb suitcase. Compact sturdy and well built. The compartments to hold clothes are excellent and keep clothes etc compact. Expensive yes. BUT it’s sleek well made three locks including one with a lock. Decent handle and smooth wheels. I cannot criticise the case. BUT UPS delivery were hopeless. 4 failed deliveries as in out for delivery then back to the sorting office.

    Already had the larger Essens Spinner and wanted matching cabin bag. Great design both sturdy and super for packing. Highly recommended.
