Samsonite South Africa was recently approached by People Have Influence, South Africa’s first influencer management agency, with an idea that would stretch creativity and luggage use in a way rarely seen before. People have Influence represent local artist Ana Kuni, a handpicked influencer whose artwork is fast becoming a South African favourite. The agency proposed a campaign whereby a Samsonite Flux case would become a canvas for Ana’s art. Her theme for the piece? A hand painted warrior woman.
Ana left to travel across Europe soon after completing the piece and flew to numerous countries with her custom suitcases, painting more and adding more as she travelled. At airports, Ana was stopped by inquisitive people passing by and received many positive comments about her unique luggage.
“It was an incredible campaign by Samsonite SA, the only luxury luggage brand Ana Kuni’s trusts to ensure her luggage stays safe whilst still being able to do what she loves, on-the-go,” the agency said.
